For the last 37 years , the CPP-NPA tried to wrestle political power from the democratic government. Their campaign vividly demonstrates the demonic and unchristian ways that they employ to propagate their ideals.
The following incidents manifest the true character of the CPP-NPA-NDF members and officers:
1) They invoke the provisions of the Comprehensive Agreement for the Respect of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law(CARHIHL) to their advantage; but wouldn't submit their organization to answer for violations committed. Clear examples of these are: OPLAN KADENA DE AMOR, OPLAN AHOS, OPLAN MISSING LINK which resulted in the massacre of thousands of their own comrades.
2) They massacred 39 innocent people who are church-goers, many of them were children who were killed inside a UCCP village church at Sitio Rano, Barangay Binaton in Digos, Davao Del Sur on that fateful day of June 25, 1989. Two of the victims, Pastor Ruben Ayap and his brother were beheaded. The CPP-NPA admitted responsibility for the brutal killings of those innocent people.
3) Responsible for the murder and assassinations of Congressmen Rodolfo Aguinaldo, Marcial Punzalan, Mayors Clarence Benwaren and Oscar Platon; Atty Ricardo Nepumuceno, Former NPA Commanders Hector Mabilangan, Romulo Kintanar, Arturo Tabara, Popoy Lagman and many others who turned their backs against the venomous Communist Doctrine.
4) They murdered Media personalities, i.e. Leo Enriquez and Atty Vic Villordon in Cebu City who were vocal critics of the NPA's violent and inhuman campaigns to advance their terroristic activities. They even put the blame in the killings of media practitioners to the AFP and PNP in order to embarass the government and exploit the maximum propaganda impact on the killings, that they( CPP-NPA)themselves committed.
5) They continously brainwash children and manipulate them to fight against the AFP/PNP forces. This policy of the CPP-NPA heirarchy to utilize children as combatants, is a direct violation of International conventions/ agreement and humanitarian Laws.
6) The CPP-NPA's continued use of landmines in waging its senseless war is a clear-cut violation of the existing International laws on Combat.
7) They are engaged in extortion activities against our fellow farmers. workers and Filipino businessmen under the Revolutionary tax scheme which is plain and simple EXTORTION. They are charging exhorbitant campaign fees on politicians who are campaigning in their area. Where is democracy here? Only the rich politicians can pay the NPA.
It is high time that all Democratic and freedom loving Filipinos must now UNITE and take a noble stand to FIGHT and put an end to the terroristic acts of the CPP-NPA.
